FAQ
Common questions about FlyteSpace, how it works, and what to expect.
What is FlyteSpace?
FlyteSpace is a private, parent-approved mental training app for young gymnasts, cheerleaders, and dancers. It helps kids build confidence, manage nerves, set goals, and develop the daily habits that lead to success — in and out of the gym.
What age is FlyteSpace for?
FlyteSpace is designed for kids roughly 7 to 17, with parent oversight built in. Younger kids get simpler prompts and a calmer experience, while older athletes get deeper goal-setting and reflection tools.
How does mental training help?
Mental training teaches kids how to handle pressure, bounce back from bad practices, and show up with confidence on meet day. Small daily habits — like a one-minute check-in, a quick affirmation, or a short journal entry — add up to real resilience over time. We have seen kids feel noticeably calmer and more confident within two weeks of consistent use.
What do kids do on FlyteSpace?
Kids check in daily with a quick mood log and a thought prompt. They can set goals, track skills, write in a private journal, use guided affirmations, and chat with a supportive AI sports psychologist trained to help young athletes work through nerves, balks, and mental blocks.
Is this a social network?
No. There are no public feeds, no followers, no likes, and no strangers. It is a private space for the kid and their parent. Direct messages are only between invited teammates and with parent awareness.
Do parents see everything?
Parents create and oversee the account. They can review journal entries, goals, and check-ins if they choose to. We encourage parents to use this as a conversation starter, not a surveillance tool.
How much does it cost?
FlyteSpace is free for kids and parents right now. No trial, no credit card, no ads. Later we'll offer paid tools for gyms, studios, and clubs — kid accounts will stay free.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, anytime from Settings. Email support@flytespace.com if you'd like a hand.
Is my kid's data safe?
Yes. We collect the minimum needed, never sell data, never show ads to kids, and never use kid content to train AI models. Journal entries and mood logs are private to the kid and their parent.
How do I get started?
Click "Create a new account" on the home page, enter your parent email, set up your kid's profile, and you are in. Most families are set up in under five minutes.
